Vacancy for a Public Relation Officer cum Communications Manager for SEARCH, Gadchiroli,
Role:

1) To plan and establish mechanisms for the communication of SEARCH with the external stakeholders and audience (other NGOs, larger civil society, political leadership, journalists, donor organizations, academic institutions, research organizations, corporate leadership etc).

Salary: Rs 35,000 per month plus PF, Health Insurance, and accommodation in the SEARCH campus at nominal rent

current Opportunities:

1.Volunteer for creating Biography of Trees found in local area( Shodhgram/Gadchiroli) 

  1. Task: Collection of information about the local trees from the internet and local sources & preparing attractive informative posters for 10 such trees.  Intrest in nature & Botany, good poster making skills is added advantage.
  2. Duration: 10-15 days ( as per availability of time)

2.Volunteer for creating video archives.

  1. Task: Collection of videos( example: Speeches given By Dr. Ahay Bang at various programs)  from all sources, watching &  editing of videos to make snippets of 5 minutes from it. Effective use of video editing software required skill.
  2. Duration: 10-15 days ( as per availability of time)

3.Volunteer for creating photographs archives. 

  1. Task: sorting of photographs collected over years and shortlisting quality photos to be printed. Clicking photographs of various field programs of SEARCH and Shodhgram campus.Good understanding of photography is desirable though not mandatory.
  2. Duration: 7-10 days ( as per availability of time)

SEARCH has had some rigorous modules especially on Life Skill Education. We visit schools, universities and other places of invitation to share our experience and conduct workshops. Please, feel free to write to us to invite Life Skill Education team to hold camp/programme at your institute.To organize training by SEARCH team at your college / organisation,
SEARCH’s partners include many Voluntary, Non-governmental and governmental organisations, ministries and departmental bodies. We work towards replication and broadening of the programme activities that have shown substantial outcome and sustainability. We also invite partners to jointly develop the solutions to the problems of rural and tribal Gadchiroli.
