SEARCH is a Non Governmental Organization (NGO) working in the poorest, semi-tribal district, Gadchiroli, in the state of Maharashtra, (India), 1000 km away from Mumbai. Its mission is to empower the village communities with Arogya Swaraj. “Arogya” means health and “Swaraj” means ownership or responsibility. The term implied the concept “people’s health in people’s hands”.
We need a Female Medical Officer to join the tribal friendly hospital, Ma Danteshwari Dawakhana,contributing to the welfare of the tribal and non-tribal people of Gadchiroli and other neighbouring districts.

Essential duties and responsibilities
Qualification
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery
Required Experience: Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a hospital
Desired Competencies
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong negotiation and influencing skills
Should have a good understanding of project management and willingness/ability to work
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Field Visit: Twice in a week
Strong commitment to the vision and mission on SEARCH
Salary
Rs. 12000/- (Increment yearly)
